So what are the traits that truly make a UX Designer “Awesome”?

They ask lots of questions.

They are strong communicators and ask the right questions.📣📣

Asking the right questions gets them clues they need to create the perfect design solution.

What type of questions:

🔹 Business Goals

🔹 How users behave

🔹 About the industry

🔹 About competitors

If your designer keeps on asking great questions, it’s a good sign!

If your designer starts designing screens without asking many questions — there is a red flag there!

They always do research.

A designer must first be fully informed to create a good design. 📖👈

Many amateur designers will design a solution before researching the industry, customer, and business goals.

That’s simple.

They can tuck away their ego.

One of the essential skills of a great product designer — is that they don’t get emotionally attached to their design. ⛔

They are just trying to get the business to the best possible new solution, no other intentions involved.

They know how to handle feedback and rejection daily.

This — I call a pro designer!

They make good friends with stakeholders & developers.

A pro-product designer will always work alongside Business stakeholders and Developers.

The best designers know how to get the entire development team to love them. 💗

They become the key communicator of the entire project. 🤷‍♂️

This is not a Figma skill.

This skill is learned with experience and personal development.
